Thank you for registering for this year's 40th annual Victoria Classic Boat Festival! The docks are open for moorage from Thursday Aug 31st at noon - upon approach please contact Nick Banks on VHF radio 66A.
The festival officially kicks off Sept 1-3 and we are required to be clear of the docks early Sept 4th.
We have a lot of programming in the works over the weekend including activities for kids and a beer garden.
Please also plan to join us for a very special dinner at the awards banquet being held at the Union Club (tickets are available exclusively to registrants of the festival and their guests). We've added a special award this year in memory of one of the Victoria Classic Boat Festival Founders, John West; for those of us who knew and loved John - he will be dearly missed and this award honours his memory and life long contribution to our marine heritage. Please use the link provided here to purchase your tickets in advance.

Sail past The start of this event can appear chaotic but we have certain constraints that we must accept. The main one being the arrival and departure of the ferry MV COHO. Until the MV COHO has departed, NO VESSEL SHOULD LEAVE ITS BERTH. The only exception to this is the Salute Vessel. The lead vessel will be designated at the Skippers’ meeting. The order of departure will be power first followed by sail. Further details will be provided at the Skippers’ meeting. All vessels are asked to take the salute of Honorary Commodore Carole Hasse who will be aboard the Salute Vessel. Please follow in line under power on the Sail past course. PLEASE GIVE OGDEN POINT BREAKWATER A WIDE BERTH to enable returning vessels to clear. The distance traveled past the Breakwater will be determined by the weather. We ask that you maintain an open channel 68 on all radios. Annual Schooner Cup & Classic Open Sail races Once again we will be holding the annual Schooner Cup and Classic Open Sail races. Skippers’ Meeting for the Races and the Sail past is on the Lower Causeway on Sunday morning at 0900 hrs.
