Dan Martin
Dan Martin became a journeyman
machinist in 1967. The following
year he founded Everett Engineering
Inc. Having built a steam-powered
motorcycle, he turned his interests
to marine engineering and is now
one of the major marine machinery
engineering contractors in the
Puget Sound area of Washington
State.
In addition to state-of-the-art
commercial re-builds, he has a
reputation for repair and production
of obsolete parts for such engines
as “Washington,” “Enterprise,” and “Atlas.” He
has been responsible for the preservation
of much of the machinery powering
historic vessels in the Puget Sound
area. He has also patented a mobile
steam cappuccino make specifically
for boilers under 20 HP.
