Dusty Rhodes

Dusty started around tugs and the logging industry and went to sea as a stoker in RCN during WW2. In his career he gained wide experience in steam, diesel and shipbuilding / repair. One of his last jobs in the Navy was Commanding Officer of Fleet Maintenance group aboard the CAPE BRETON. He brings a wide range of experience on coastal vessels including construction and restoration of numerous vessels such as Tsekoa, Beaver, Glendevon, Pacific Petrel to name a few. He also found time to obtain his Captain's Certificate. He is a member of U.K. / Canadian Marine Engineers Institute, World Ship Society and the Thermopalaye Club of Victoria.
